The Ultimate Blog Party

I followed this link to my friend LL's blog, and decided that I too was going to follow suit (nobody said I wasn't a follower).

This is my virgin attempt at something like this, so . . . here goes:

I am a 30-something year old Mom of 4 kids (well actually, technically I only gave birth to 3 of them and married the other one, but it's still like having a kid, right?!) living on the shores of beautiful Georgian Bay in Ontario Canada. Contrary to popular belief, it is NOT the great white north all year long, and in fact, spring in trying to spring (although Old Man winter is desperately trying to make sure that he's remembered). My children are 14, 8 and 6.

I committed career/job suicide several years ago when I decided to stay home after my maternity leave with my youngest. Actually, the decision wasn't terribly difficult, I didn't even 'have' a job to return to anyway, and I wanted to stay home with my kids . . . so, easy peasy, decision made. And this is where I've been ever since. The challenges of raising a family and just 'living' has been a wild ride - but one I wouldn't change for anything.

I call things as I see them and speak my mind, so bear this all in mind as you read my blog. I'm not out to create controversy or anything like that . . . I just blog for the fun of it, and of course it's going to be filled with my opinions, because, well, it's MY space to do so, right?!
