It's New Year's Eve. I'm having a hard grasping the fact that an entire year has blown past. While it feels as though it's just whizzed by, the reality is, it's been packed full of some crazy and busy events, and I'm left wondering if it all really happened JUST within a year period.
2011. Imagine that. It's just crazy to think that 11 years ago, the world was preparing to essentially end with the millenium change. We really were kind of dumb with that thought process, weren't we?!
2010 was a very unique year for our family. There are numerous events and moments that we lived through that I really hope we never have to face again, but there were also many that we do look fondly on and hold great memories of. We faced some significant medical drama, but also faced some GOOD stuff on the medical front. I guess we just have to take the bad with the good.
I'm just hoping that there's more GOOD in 2011.
As we head out to ring in the New Year with some great friends, we are reminded of just how lucky we are to be here. We are HERE to celebrate now, and for the most part ARE healthy and capable. For that, we're grateful. We hope that you all have a fantastic New Years Eve, and pray and hope that 2011 is filled with great things for you and yours.
